Nuel I called you by name" on August 5, 2016 as his lungs failed him. He was 64 and spent his life time in Lake County, a recent resident of Painesville Twp.
Son of the late William and Margaret Mahaffey, he is survived by his brother Todd (Linda), Kim (Christine); his nieces Megan, Kendra and Mary; as well as his cousins Patricia (Bill), Cindy (Ted) and their families.
Nuel was a graduate of North High and Ohio University. He had worked for Barr Construction and was a Willowick councilman in the 70's and a volunteer of Willow Praise Church. Avid crossword puzzle champ, Jeopardy "player", he loved the Indians and Rock 'n' Roll, especially Joe Walsh and Bob Dylan. He will be missed by his Willow Praise family of 20 years and his good friend Larry Bogenrief.
