William Loomis

Masonic services for William J.E. Loomis, 51, of Kirtland, will be 8 p.m. Saturday at Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Mr. Loomis died Aug. 27, 2003, at LakeWest Hospital in Willoughby. Born May 18, 1952, in East Cleveland, he lived in Eastlake before moving to Kirtland five years ago. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of Temple Lodge 28 Free and Accepted Masons in Painesville and was Past Master Counselor of the former Coeur-de-Leon Chapter Order of DeMolay.

Mr. Loomis was a car tester for Ohio E-Check for the past seven years. Prior to that, he was employed by the former Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby. Survivors are his mother, Blanche A. Loomis of Eastlake; sister, Karen (Bruce) Anspach of Fairport Harbor; nieces, Wendy and Jennifer; nephew, John; uncle, Richard (Nadine) Loomis of Eastlake; and many cousins and their families. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Rosemary Zema of Kirtland.
