Richard A. “Rick” Friel passed away January 26, 2005, at his residence.  Born March 6, 1952, in Cleveland, he was a lifelong Eastlake resident.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.  He enjoyed drag racing, muscle cars and classic cars.  Rick was the owner and operator of Rick’s Towing Service in Eastlake.  Survivors are his children, Keri Friel of Willowick, Richard Friel II, of Mayfield Heights and Megan Besselman of Mentor; granddaughters, Kaleigh Hosey and Rileigh Friel; mother Wilma Friel of Eastlake; brothers Jim (Barb) Friel, Mike (Doreen) Friel, and Tom (Kathy) Friel.
